Professional R.O. Unit
The Professinal R.O. Unit has the same flow rate as the Standard unit, however it also includes a post membrane de-ioniser, this gives the permeate water a final polish by removing any residual substances.
The unit consists of 4 main sections, (see diagram) Sediment 1 to remove particles and impurities, Sediment 2 to remove Chlorine and other dissolved chemicals, Membrane and Post Membrane Deioniser. The unit is fitted with a flow regulator, this ensures that the quantities of permeate (usable water) and concentrate (waste water) are balanced and ensure the best conditions for the membrane and also a Membrane Pressure Indicator. This guage shows the water pressure when entering the membrane housing.
The Professional R.O. Unit employs a Filmtec membrane as these can be considered among the most reliable on the market.
